Please read these terms and conditions for caravan rental as they apply to all our caravan bookings at Haven's Caister-on-Sea Holiday Park in Norfolk. Your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions is confirmed if you place a booking with us.

Your Caravan Stay - General

Safety and Security

1. Who is coming?

  1. 1.1 Names of all Guests
    You must tell us who is coming with you, and their ages, as only people named on the booking form and our booking confirmation can stay in the caravan and use the holiday park's facilities. The maximum number of guests permitted in the caravan is eight.
  2. 1.2 Responsibility and Behaviour
    All guests are the responsibility of the lead guest named on the booking confirmation issued by us, and they must not be loud, disruptive, antisocial, unruly or a "pain in the neck". Note that all guests must comply with Haven's park rules and any park rules broken may lead to you and all your guests being asked to leave the park immediately. No refund will be given. Please bear in mind that caravan holidays and breaks at Caister are designed with families and couples in mind.
  3. 1.3 Groups and Young People
    We are unable to accept bookings for parties of all male or all female groups or where all of the intended guests are under the age of 21 years.

2. Caravan and Park Restrictions and Policies

  1. 2.1 Animals and Pets
    No dogs, with the exception of Registered Assistance Dogs, or other pets are permitted inside the caravan. Haven do have some other caravans that can accommodate dogs inside.
  2. 2.2 Dogs on the Holiday Park
    Well behaved and well-trained dogs are welcome on the holiday park and on the beach but they must be kept under control and on a lead at all times.
  3. 2.3 Smoking
    Smoking, vaporisers, e-cigarettes and tabacco are not permitted inside the caravan. Smoking is permitted outside the caravan and in the holiday park designated areas.

3. Damage to the Caravan and Contents

  1. 3.1 Refundable Damage Deposit
    A refundable damage and cleanliness deposit of £50.00 is due when the final balance is paid. This will be added to your invoice and returned to you following satisfactory inspection of the caravan within seven days after your departure.
  2. 3.2 Report Damages
    You must report any damage to Reception immediately. If the caravan or its fixtures, fittings or contents are damaged by you or someone in your party during your stay we have the right to recover the cost of this from you incuding any extra cleaning costs.

4. Your Caravan Stay - General

  1. 4.1 Cost of Your Caravan Rental
    Although advertised prices may sometimes change, the cost of your caravan rental from us will not increase after you have paid any required deposit or made full payment to us. If we do reduce the price of your rental for any reason we will refund the difference. Value Added Tax (VAT) does not apply to our caravan rentals.
  2. 4.2 If we Cancel Your Booking
    We will only cancel your booking if it's absolutely necessary. An example of this would be if the previous occupier caused extensive damage that needs urgent repair. If we do have to cancel then we will do our best to obtain replacement accommodation at Caister or give you a full refund.
  3. 4.3 Haven Entertainment Passes or 'Fun Passes'
    Although a lot of the activities and facilities on the park are free, Haven Fun Passes are required to access the entertainment venues, the indoor heated swimming pool and some other amenities. These are not included in your rental cost but are available from Haven's Reception at a reasonable cost. Prices are based on the number of guests requiring them and/or caravan occupancy - whichever is cheaper.
  4. 4.4 Bathroom and Bed Linen
    Please note that towels, pillow cases, bed linen and duvet covers are not provided. You can either bring your own or they may be hired at a reasonable cost from the park on arrival. If you do wish to hire then make sure you arrive when the hire shop is open. We recommend you confirm hours and availability with Haven reception.

  5. 4.5 Check-In and Check-Out
    Check-in time is from 3pm on the day of arrival and check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Keys and holiday park information are available from Reception. If you arrive early then you are welcome to use the park's facilities until you check-in. However, some activities are not available on Arrival days. Please leave the caravan in a clean and tidy state and return the keys to Reception when you depart.
  6. 4.6 Gas and Electricity Use
    Reasonable use of the caravan's mains gas and electricity is included in the cost of the caravan rental. However, the charging of electric cars is not permitted.

5. Safety and Security

  1. 5.1 Haven Holiday Park Security
    Haven have a professional security service operating at Caister Holiday Park 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Regular patrols are made throughout the park and the accommodation areas, security staff are present at the entertainment venues, bars and restaurants as well as at other facilities. Your co-operation with security requests and procedures is required at all times.
  2. 5.2 Injury, Loss or Damage to You or Your Guests
    We are not responsible for, or accept liability for, any injury, loss or damage suffered by you or any member of your party during your stay in the caravan.
